You must see that the top of your order is clearly marked as to whether the order has been paid for, or whether it will be paid upon collection. This means that uniform can again be ordered over the phone (01325 337667), or by collecting an order form at Stagecoach, or by rightclicking over the order form below, saving it to your computer and then printing off.
Payment, can be either as cash or cheque (made payable to “Stagecoach”) or payment can be made by card over the phone on 01325 337667.
The wearing of jazz trainers
Given their bulk, the jazz trainers are not routinely stocked by me and have to be ordered in (this can take several weeks). It is a Head Office ruling that only Stage 2 and 3 may wear them. Given that they are twice as expensive as jazz shoes, take longer to be delivered, and for some styles of Dance and period drama can look out of place or clumsy, I still prefer the normal jazz shoes - but the choice is yours. PLEASE NOTE THAT WHEN ORDERING A SIZE FOR JAZZ BOOTS YOU SHOULD CHOOSE YOUR NORMAL SIZE IN TRAINERS. WHEN ORDERING JAZZ SHOES YOU SHOULD ORDER A FULL SIZE BIGGER THAN YOUR NORMAL SCHOOL SHOE.
Split-Soled Jazz Shoes have the advantage of greater suppleness so that footwork is seen better and is neater. This style is more popular with girls but it is not exclusively intended for girls. They are £2 per pair dearer than the normal jazz shoes
BOYS ONLY DANCE CLASS UNIFORM
The boys need black ballet shoes (we do not sell these but they can be sourced from the Internet or I believe from the “Born To Dance” shop (on North Road). Until the boy has decided to stay in the class for longer than the 2 weeks` trial, he can dance in black socks. For Stret Dance they need plain black dance trainers or our Stagecoach jazz trainers. For clothing in Ballet, they should wear a plain white T shirt, short-sleeved (round or V necked) and some plain black football-type shorts. For Street Dance they need a pair of Stagecoach Jogging trousers or plain black jogging pants.
