Please note the following:-
The wearing of jazz trainers
This footwear has been discontinued for the time being.
WHEN ORDERING JAZZ SHOES YOU SHOULD ORDER A FULL SIZE BIGGER THAN YOUR NORMAL SCHOOL SHOE.
Split-Soled Jazz Shoes have the advantage of greater suppleness so that footwork is seen better and is neater. This style is more popular with girls but it is not exclusively intended for girls. They are £2 per pair dearer than the normal jazz shoes
BOYS ONLY DANCE CLASS UNIFORM
The boys need black ballet shoes (we do not sell these but they can be sourced from the Internet or I believe from the “Born To Dance” shop (on North Road). Until the boy has decided to stay in the class for longer than the 2 weeks` trial, he can dance in black socks. For Street Dance they need plain black dance trainers or our Stagecoach jazz trainers. For clothing in Ballet, they should wear a plain white T shirt, short-sleeved (round or V necked) and some plain black football-type shorts. For Street Dance they need a pair of Stagecoach Jogging trousers or plain black jogging pants.
