NO STARE (DANCE AND SINGING) UNTIL SUNDAY 19th FEB WHEN SINGING STARE WILL START AGAIN FOLLOWED BY DANCE STARE THE WEEK AFTER (FOR A CONTINUOUS 3 WEEKS). SINGING STARE WILL BE ALTERNATE WEEKS AS USUAL.
Dance STARE resumes on week 1 of term (8th Jan at Teesside High). The next 2 weeks are Singing STARE with Dance STARE on the 4th week. STARE teaching staff will advise after this.
Singing STARE begins on Sunday 18th September from 10.00am until 11.00am, followed by Dancing STARE the week after, from 2.15pm until 3.30pm. We will alternate each week unless party bookings interfere with this pattern. Check this website for updates before setting out to sessions. Because all staff are heavily involved in exams on Sunday 12th June there will not be any Singing or Dance STARE. Instead, this week (June 5th) and the week following the 12th (19th June), there will be BOTH Singing STARE AND Dance STARE.
Any STARE member who turns up to STARE this week will be eligible to
sing at a gig for the Summer Fair of Preston Primary School, Eaglescliffe, on SATURDAY 11th JUNE. Singing STARE will hopefully be singing `Proud Mary` and `Sweet Child of Mine` or one of the Beatles Medleys so please brush up the words and bring your lyric sheets.

People attending that gig will need to be there for 5.15pm to perform at 5.40pm.
You will not be able to perform if you cannot attend the rehearsal. If you cannot do the gig it is not worth attending this week`s STARE training.

There were two awards nights last week and our All Boy Dance Class and Dance STARE performed at the Tuesday awards night. The Boys danced to “Bohemian Rhapsody” by Queen and were complimented enthusiastically by the editor of the Northern Echo when I met him on the stairs at the interval.
STARE performed to “Bridging the Gap”, as the night`s finale and the dance ended with a spectacular `explosion` of dancers. Hayley Moohan said that she had visited Hurworth School the night after and the Hurworth teachers who had been at the Vibes were full of praise for our groups - saying that they get better every year.
