Aimee Frost from Yarm Early Stages found pirate bear a changed bear when he went home with her recently. The jail scare must have done him good. Here he is with Aimee making scambled egg in her kitchen. It tasted so good that she rewarded him by letting him play on her games machine. What a relief to find him a changed bear! I hope it lasts.

Received this week from Madison Parkinson of Darlington Early Stages. That spell in the cells must have calmed him down. But he did ask a lot of questions about French brandy in the french class??!!??
Straight after Stagecoach he went to French Club at the Arts Centre and then to ballet where he watched Madison do her mock ballet exam.
During the week he worked very hard on Daddy’s building site and had a ride in a digger.
Then pirate bear made some new friends!
I loved having pirate bear to stay and hope he can come back again soon.
Love Madison xx

Hayden Cotterill of Yarm Early Stages entertained the pirate bear at his house recently. He kindly took him along to meet his friends at school. All went well at first - just exploring the water fountain but it wasn`t long before he was tormenting the hamster and messing about with aerosol cans. He had to be stopped from playing with a power drill and because he was sulking he decided to draw a cheeky picture of the teacher so it was time to teach HIM a lesson and he was hung out to dry with the paintings!!

Nadia Fenwick has just moved up from Early Stages in Darlington to Saturday AM Main School and is obviously taking a lot of talent up with her because last week she won her school`s talent competition and came away with this impressive trophy. Fabulous Nadia. We are very proud of you!

And here she is I think with her trophy shortly after she won it at school.

IN THIS THE LATEST ADVENTURE OF PIRATE BEAR, WE SEE HIM IN THE HANDS OF THE POLICE. TO SEE WHAT ELSE HE HAS BEEN UP TO, CLICK ON `EARLY STAGES BEAR DIARIES` IN THE DROP-DOWN CATEGORIES BOX AND SEE OUR ARCHIVE OF MISCHIEF
When Pirate Bear went home with Katie Wright of Yarm Early Stages, he did not realise that here was a girl who stood NO messing. Her auntie is a police woman in Stockton and she decided to teach him a lesson.
Here is pirate bear looking all innocent in a cafe

But it was not long before he decided to `steal` some goodies

So it was on with the handcuffs

And off to the police station with him

I`m not sure if this is a holding cell or a vehicle for transporting trouble-makers but pirate bear isn`t looking happy whatever it is.

He had his pawprints taken and was given an identification number

And then it was off to the cells - no honey for him!

It is no use trying to escape pirate bear - you have to serve your sentence!

Megan Kelly, of Yarm Early Stages, was the latest victim of pirate bear`s bad behaviour. Firstly he seemed very interested in the rubbish bin - bottoms up!!

Now we know why! His love of chocolate is well-documented.
Then he decided to practise his swashbuckling antics - up on the curtain rail, swinging from the light fittings and sliding down the bannister.

You can see that Megan is NOT AMUSED!!! but I`m not surprised because as soon as her back was turned, there he was wearing her lovely shoes. Now I know that pirates wear buckled shoes but he would not be able to run fast in those if he had to get a quick getaway!!
Erin Jones of Yarm`s Older Early Stages class, was tormented by the thieving antics of the pirate bear recently. She sent me the pictures to prove it.

Pirate bear started off by fighting with the dinosaurs that live at Erin`s house and then was found red-handed with Erin`s piggy bank and the car keys.
BUT WHAT IS THIS???……
Erin is helping his getaway on a motorbike. She seems very happy about it. Love it!!!

Keira Williams, of the older Early Stages group in Darlington, took pirate bear home recently, only to have him disappear. When he was finally tracked down he was found in the kitchen cupboard dipping a stolen cookie into the honey jar. She even brought the cookie in as proof. I`m so sorry Keira. You just can`t trust that bear at all - as others found this week……

Well Trudy,
Pirate Bear was very naughty at the Moohan household. He cut off barbies hair, ate all the sweets, sneaked into the pirate treasure box and then decided to run away!
The photos are evidence!!
Good riddance Pirate Bear,
Love from Lucy Moohan x
