Pirate Bear used to be a regular visitor to our web site but the swine flu outbreak last year sent him into exile. But here he is as large as life and full of fun. He has been known to get up to mischief when staying with our students and we do like to know what he gets up to so please e mail us with any diary entries or photos so that we can keep up with him
Sophie younger`s mum of Yarm Early Stages has started us off ….
Hi Everyone, I’m Pirate Bear. I’m a very lucky little bear as I’m
spending the year with Darlington and Yarm Early Stages groups. Each week I get to go home with one of the boys or girls and can’t wait to see what fun and excitement I get to have!
This week I went to Sophie’s. As you can see we were both very excited!

I got to go to school with her for show and tell. I wanted to tell all
the boys and girls how much fun stagecoach is but the teacher said Sophie would have to do this as my little voice wasn’t loud enough for everyone to hear. I will have to ask Trudy and Clare to teach me how to project my voice! I went back to school later in the week and all the other children had their teddies in too. We (the bears) got to play games while the children made us little luggage tags so we would always find our way home if we got lost.
I also went to gymnastics and rainbows where we got to sing a really fun song and play lots of games.
On Saturday it was Sophie’s Grandma’s birthday tea party. It was lots of fun and there were lots of cakes and other yummy things. We played some more games there and had a great time.
Thanks Sophie - I had such a great time! It was a very busy week and by the end I was quite tired but as soon as I got back to Stagecoach and saw all the other children I couldn’t wait to see what I would get to do next!
