Darrien Wright
Monday, July 2nd, 2007Darrien Wright, together with his partner Hollie, won the title of best couple in the BBC series of Strictly Dance Fever. Darrien comes from Darlington and still returns every now and then to teach dance classes to children in Darlington Arts Centre. He knows Zoe very well. Darrien is currently on tour around Britain in “Fame“.
When Darrien first came to Stagecoach, it was a complete shock. He arrived as a surprise judge to choose the Northern Echo`s scholarship prize for our new ground-breaking All Boys Dance class. He was really lovely with the boys who were very nervous about their auditions and he spent a lot of time helping us to decide upon the most deserving boy. Theo Close was finally chosen.
It is hoped that we will be able to have Darrien come in to Stagecoach soon to do some Dance classes for us when his schedule allows.
