Stagecoach Darlington & Yarm are pleased to receive Celebrity Best Wishes for their 10th Anniversary.
All of our Early Stages students have been privileged to meet a princess this term.
Princess Eleanor contacted the children because she knew they were kind and clever and might be able to help her with a big problem. Her wicked great-grandmother had cast a spell on her, which kept her trapped in the past, as a little girl who could not grow up. This Queen Elizabeth had then stolen her jewels.
It seems that Princess Eleanor was right to trust our Early stages students because they were able to follow all the clues, make up some good spells to break the bad magic and find the missing will, the map and eventually (oh what an exciting day!) the jewels themselves. Princess Eleanor came in to
Stagecoach to thank the children personally and has promised to send them a certificate from the Prime Minister of Moldavia, to mark their extreme bravery and intelligence.
Princess Eleanor has also agreed to reply to any e mails that the children would like to send to her. Please e mail her with any photographs or art work that you have, as well as your letters.
Email the Princess !
How many times in normal life do we ask each other “Remember when?” This is the section where you can share your Stagecoach memories with others, engage in an ongoing chat about past times, or post some photo / video / sound clips to stimulate other people`s memories.Send your memories on the link below and begin your message with “Remember when…?”PublishStuff@Gmail.com
The following would like to leave messages and best wishes to Stagecoach for 10 years in Darlington & Yarm…
Every year for 20+years , I had led a party of children to The Derbyshire Peak District, first with my primary school students and then in the last 8 years with Stagecoach. We stayed in University of Sheffield Accommodation and spent the weekend in a very full programme of activities. The last visit took place in July 2005. We could not get viable numbers the following year and all the student accommodation was due for a major rebuild and relocation, so it seemed a fitting time to call an end to an era.We always had a ball! Are you one of the children who came with us on this trip? Are you a parent who sent their child away with us?
What are your memories?Do you have any photos?Have you been back?Where would you like to visit again?

The one project that we have done which received the best feedback was our Awards Nights, which is why we repeated our OSCER experience of a few years ago this last term with the DAFTAS.Here is a clip (Nanny Mc Phee 2) from one of the 18 movies that were shot especially for the DAFTAS Awards Nights.
What other pieces of Drama, Dance routines, Songs, Summer Workshops or term Themes have you enjoyed? Tell us on this link publishstuff@gmail.com
Just like solid scrapbooks, this one will hold all the little odds and ends that do not easily fit into any of our categories. You can send us :-

whatever takes your fancy ……
Aaron Chilton`s dad (Aaron is in Darlington Saturday AM school) is pictured in this clip from the Northern Echo presenting money to charities who help servicemen injured in battle. Gary Chilton is himself a serving soldier and one of a group called “The Soldiers” who have had some great recording and touring success lately. That is a magnificent amount to have raised.

Elle Lamming of Yarm AM school recently went to London to see “Billy Elliot” in the West End. She waited at the stage door with her mum and was rewarded with the chance of a photo with the boy who played Billy.
