Vicky Mc Intyre, lately of Further Stages, is organising another concert this year in aid of Cancer Research UK. Vicky has organised at least 2 other annual concerts in memory of her grandma. Several of our students will be performing at the concert so please go along to support them and Vicky. I am always impressed by Vicky`s drive and organisational skills.
An ex-student Kimberley Knowles, has asked me to publicise her vintage fair happening in Darlington in December. Kimberley is very interested in fashion and design. Go along and see what`s there. It sounds fun.

Darlington Further Stages did their Trinity Exams at the weekend by presenting a selection of extracts from `Blood Brothers`. It would be really worthwhile their going to see the professional show, whilst it is in town at Darlington Civic.
I can try and see if I can get party rates to see the show on the Monday night 20th September. Please e mail me on t.hindmarsh15@btinternet.com BY A DEADLINE OF SEPTEMBER 10th if you would like to join the party. This offer is open to anyone in any of our age groups and any other family members.

Darlington Operatic`s next production will be `Beauty and the Beast` at Darlington Civic in October 2010. You can print off an order form below by right clicking over the image.
At the moment, I know that Lucy Lavelle (ex Yarm Further Stages, EArly Stages Helper and teacher Janie`s daughter) is playing a featured role and Theo Close from Darlington Friday school is also in the cast. There may be others - if so - let me know and I`ll add you to the list

If you are making a trip to LOndon this summer try and go to see Zoe in “Thriller” in the West End. Eve Robinson`s mum knows someone who works on the show, who says ticket sales have shot up since Zoe joined the cast - that`s our girl!!
Eve`s mum took Eve to see the show recently and said that Zoe was amazing. I`m going to go to see the show when I go down for the Billy Youth Theatre West End trip, on the Friday night. Perhaps I`ll see some others there.

Thanks to Mrs Walton for bringing this deal to my attention for anyone who is going to London over Easter and may want to see “Billy Elliot”.
