Book Now for our FREE Discovery Days

Friday, November 18th, 2011

INVITATION  TO A `STAGECOACH DISCOVERY DAY`

to families who may be interested in a Stagecoach place for their child.

Stagecoach has built up an excellent `word-of-mouth` reputation, across a 14 year period, for the quality of training that it gives
and for the differences it can make to children`s social skills and well-being. We have also achieved an enviable record for the professional performing opportunities made available to our students and the success of our older students in reaching higher level training. If you would like to see what Stagecoach is all about and test its good reputation, then here is the ideal opportunity.

We have news of  a special `Discovery Day`  that  we would like to tell you about as a very special FREE Christmas gift offer to YOUR child.

WHAT AND HOW

Your child would come along to join in the fun at Stagecoach for 3 hours, taking classes, with Stagecoach staff, alongside some Stagecoach students. Classes would be held in Dance, Drama and Singing - all on a Christmas theme. THERE WOULD BE NO COST
INVOLVED.
At the end of the session, parents would be able to come along and see what progress has been made and find out any further information that they require. Where vacancies exist, it will also be possible to enrol for the new January term. Those enrolling, will be able to choose a free gift to take them forward into their new term.

WHEN AND WHERE

On Saturday 10th December from 10.00am until 1.00pm at The Queen Elizabeth Sixth Form College, Darlington OR on Sunday 11th December from 10.00am until 1.00pm at Teesside High School, Eaglescliffe.

ACT NOW!!

Please be aware that news about these  FREE Discovery sessions is being advertised in the Press, leafleted about in schools, and being posted out to previous enquirers. Places on the Discovery sessions are strictly limited by insurance requirements and in the past have led to waiting lists for places. RING 01325 337667 to book YOUR place. Leave a message and your telephone number, if there is no-one to take your call and someone will get back to you. Places are allocated on a first come first served basis.  I AM AFRAID
THAT ANYONE SIMPLY TURNING UP ON THE DAY, WITHOUT HAVING BOOKED A PLACE WILL BE UNABLE TO BE ACCEPTED ONTO THE COURSE.

SO COME AND START THE CHRISTMAS FESTIVITIES WITH US - AT `STAGECOACH`

Best Regards,

Trudy Hindmarsh (Principal Stagecoach Darlington and Yarm)

Lucie Wins a Stagecoach Award for her Bravery and Cheerfulness

Friday, November 18th, 2011

Lucie Russell

Little Lucie Russell of Darlington 11am Early Stages class has won a Stagecoach Award in only her first term of membership. It has been won because despite incredible health problems, Lucie is gutsy and enthusiastic and smiles all the time.

Lucie is only 5 years old but has only just learned to walk again after not being able to for 2.5 years. Lucie developed a very serious childhood cancer when she was two and a half years old which meant daily chemotherapy with a double dose on Fridays which left her vomiting all night. She lost the use of her legs and she could not be touched. Her reduced immune system allowed her to get chickenpox which put her into intensive care and then she caught swine flu which put her back into intensive care.

Lucy now has the all-clear and is trying to catch up on lost time. She loves to come to Stagecoach and expects no special consideration, giving as much as she possibly can in Dance, even though she still gets bone pain.

Initially there was a disappointment for Lucie in that on the day of the awards (her birthday) a huge party has already been arranged for her by her dad`s workmates (as she has never been able to  have a party before). After the awards, the children and their families can go to see `Shrek` in the West End for free.

Although Lucie will miss out on this, there are plans afoot by our Head Office to make sure that she does not miss out altogether.

Well done Lucie. You are an inspiration to us all!
