What Elton John Had to Say About `Billy Elliot`
Above is a page from the `Billy elliot` programme from the West End show which is interesting I think in that Elton John describes his first meeting with Jamie Bell and Stephen Daldry. Elton John`s music is from my era so I have lots of good memories attached but working with the `Billy Elliot` show has made me see what a very gifted musician he is. When you see the shows, you will be struck I think at how complicated the music is - particularly for children- but how absolutely on the mark it is at raising different emotions. I am so impressed. Undoubtedly he carries a huge credit for the success of the stage show.
