Singing Sue has given me this photo from the front page of the Gazette about the closure of Corus in Redcar recently, as an image for the students to look at as a modern day equivalent to the feelings of loss and solidarity that a workforce feels when faced with the death of their industry. The faces, the banners and the emotions would have been very similar to those of the miners facing their conflict in the 80`s
