Janie and the Cast of “Cinderella” were brilliant! - Oh Yes They Were!!
Our teacher Janie Lavelle (Early Stages Darlington teacher, STARE and Further Stages choreographer and Singing teacher at the Thursday School) was plunged into saving a pantomime just before Christmas, when a crisis hit the panto company that Janie had been choreographing for. She and the assistant director swore to fight on to save the production and succeeded admirably. “Cinderella” played for several nights in January at the Arc Theatre in Stockton. Several of the cast members were Stagecoach students. Janie`s daughter, Lucy Lavelle of Yarm Further Stages played an awesome Ugly sister and Megan Robson of Darlington Thursday school played Miss Muffet. We had some adorable stage 1 and Early Stages mice in the company (front 2 rows of the photo) and several older students playing in the chorus too. See the highlighted names in the programme below and see who you can spot in the photo. Well done all of you!!
