Aaron`s dad is Platinum Plated
Aaron Chilton is living with a celebrity at the moment - his dad!
Sgt Major Gary Chilton is a serving soldier and together with 2 other serving soldiers (one of whom has appeared on X Factor last year) he has released an album called ”Coming Home” which became the number one selling album - outselling Cheryl Cole`s first solo album and which has just gone platinum. There are now plans to release a Christmas single from their album - and who knows it MAY outsell the X Factor winner`s solo release. Gary is the lead singer of the group on both the singles that have been released so far.
Aaron is hopeful that when his dad goes on tour with the group next year, he will be able to have a singing spot on some of the gigs because Aaron also has a very impressive singing voice.
Aaron`s mum says she is enjoying her time as a WAG and has been helping her husband to learn his lyrics - with a few Stagecoach tips gained by Aaron in his LAMDA exam training last year!
Aaron`s dad will be able to come to our Christmas Charity Concert if you want to take your autograph books but unfortunately will not be able to sing for us. we will hopefully have some albums to sell on the night and by then the single will be released too so we may have some of them. Proceeds from the sale of the cd`s go to the Army Benevolent Fund, Help for Heroes and The Royal British Legion.
