Theo`s Injury Captures the Imagination of the Press
Theo Close of Darlington`s Boys Only Dance Class, broke his foot whilst rehearsing at Her Majesty`s Theatre in LOndon for the Stagecoach Showcase. I was unaware that he had hurt himself at all, even though I was with the group, throughout their time in the theatre, until I got home from London and found that upon Theo`s return to Darlington he had gone to A and E with his foot which had swelled hugely. 2 bones in his foot were subsequently found to have been broken. The fact that he kept his injury quiet on the day in order not to let his team mates or staff down and so that his family would see him perform shows great courage and I am pleased that the Press have recognised that and given the story a warm response

Theo was also invited into the ITV studios to be interviewed on the evening local news bulletin, where he conducted himself with characteristic humilty and was a fantastic ambassador for Stagecoach
