EARLY STAGES WORKSHOP

We are making changes to the format of this workshop week also. Whilst the Early Stages Workshop Show was a very well received by parents last year, I was personally concerned that the little ones were under a lot of pressure in creating their full show performance in such a short space of time and pressuring children in a negative way is not what we are about.

To address this, we are holding workshop days this year, which will be self-contained and on a different theme each day. The hours are longer each day but the hourly rate cheaper. Parents can book for individual days or at a discounted price for the whole week. With a longer day, parents are not as tied and can do more with their day and are not prevented from getting their child involved if they cannot attend all week.

The children will do a little mini performance of the dance routine and song that they have been working on, and perhaps present a poem or little sketch for drama, when parents come to collect them at the end of each day. They will also take home something that they have made in their craft class.
