Our Santas and Stars - and performers - were ALL Stars
On Saturday 20th December, 8 members of STARE , dressed as Santas, accompanied 8 Early Stages, dressed as stars, to sell programmes, at the 8th Annual Christmas Concert, in aid of St Theresa`s Hospice, in Darlington, at Lingfield Point. The pairs were a great success and as soon as the charity tell me what it is, I will post up to the site the fundraising total that they helped to raise at the concert. I have some colour photos to download which I will also do then. For now, here is the cutting from the Northern Echo.
P.S. The concert was excellent and I could recommend it to anyone for next year. It really got everyone into the Christmas spirit. It was The Tees Valley Youth Choir - with Lily Moore and Alice Hughes from Yarm Further Stages amongst its members - Sanaz Lavasani (ex student from Yarm AM was guesting in a solo spot on her holidays home from Guildhall) and Ethan Hurworth and Toby Chapman (Yarm AM) and Freddie Samways (Darlington Wednesday) and Christian Potter (ex Darlington Saturday PM school) were there singing with the Darlington based all boy choir called “Locomotion”led by Nicky Lycett - our Wednesday school Singing teacher. Well done everyone.
