8 Days and Counting!! Help the E Mail chain!

The e mail method of raising awareness seems to be working. Mrs Brown reported this morning that one had come to her from a non-Stagecoach source so that is great news. I also had an e mail from a non-Stagecoach source checking that the information was not a hoax before he passed it on.  SO if you have not done so already, can you copy and paste the black typed information below and forward it in an e mail to anyone local in your address book, who might come and join us or who might know other people who would.

I NEED YOUR HELP!!

On SATURDAY 26th JULY we are trying to break a Guinness world record in the market square in Darlington for the largest number of people doing the Locomotion Dance. The attempt will take place at noon but the choreography will be taught at 11.45am and participants need to pre-register (Guinness rules) at any time from 10.00am at special registration tables set up in the market square.

THE EVENT IS FREE TO JOIN AND EVERYONE IS WELCOME

The event is to return public pride - see later and also to raise money and awareness for a very needy charity “Hands of Love”  where 100% of the public`s donations go straight to a Ugandan orphanage which is trying to keep 350 orphans from dying.

The choreography is simplified for any age group or fitness level and it will not be travelling in a line, like a train, so there is no danger of young children or older people stumbling and getting hurt by others behind them. Everyone dances in their own space.

It is a matter of regional pride too that we bring this record home because it was originally set as part of the celebrations for the Locomotion`s historic journey between Darlington and Stockton. Now another group in the south of England holds the record. COME ON TEES VALLEY - STAND UP AND FIGHT and bring the record back where it belongs!!

Can you forward this e mail to friends and colleagues who you think either might turn up (we need more than 1400 to beat the record - eek!!) or who would forward this e mail to people in their address book who might also forward it on to their address book etc.   Thank you if you decide to help.
