“Singer of the School” Winners - Part 1

In our main schools, this term, we are working on audition techniques. As part of this process, the students in each school are choosing a “Singer of the School”. These 7 students (there are 7 main schools) will then be taught a song and they will record it as a group and the track will be included on our forthcoming CD of the “Best Voices of 10 years” album, due to be released soon.  The Thursday and Friday schools will hold their competition this week. The results of the other schools are listed below.  We have been astonished by the standards achieved and very pleased by the enthusiasm shown and by the support given to one another by the students.  Each stage chose its “Singing Champion” and then an overall winner was chosen by the whole school in a “sing-off” at the end of the classes.  The other two singers held a joint second place position.  Well done to all those students listed below. Parents should be very proud.
